Why does the live image at night often look as if it is day?

This strange phenomenon is caused by the moonlight.
To observe faint aurora, our camera push up a shutter for a long time (15-20 seconds).
For this reason, around the time of full moon, the landscape looks like it is lit by daylight.

For best results, you should download the latest versions of these plugins that you don't already have: the Macromedia Flash Player and the Windows Media Player.  >>System requirements
